Take a break from the hustle and bustle of making ends meet. Join us for a fun day of snorkeling and beach time aboard our unique power catamaran Blu Bi U. Kick back and relax while our friendly, professional crew takes care of your every need.
Coconut Reef will provide your party with a nice relaxing day out on the water. You’ll get the opportunity to experience some great snorkeling and then relax on the beach or play in the waves.
Our day starts at our Marina in Cole Bay where we assemble, go through our simple guest registration and then board the boat and get ready to sail. After a short safety briefing we get underway and cruise over to the Simpson Bay Bridge. At the 9 a.m. opening we make our way out through the bridge. passing St Maarten Yacht Club and out into Simpson Bay. From there, we head north to Little Bay. It takes about 15 minutes before we reach Little Bay. Here we anchor below Fort Amsterdam, don our snorkeling gear and hit the water. We’ll explore the rocks, wrecks and coral below the waves at the foot of the Fort. There are a lot of sea creature that call this area home. You’ll also get to see the wrecks and structure assembled in this area and possibly even a few divers trying their skills at Snuba or Scuba diving.
Once you’ve had your fill of snorkeling, we’ll assemble back on the boat and cruise south back to Simpson Bay. Once back in Simpson Bay, we’ll pull in close to shore and visit our friends at The Boon. You’ll be welcome (but not obliged) to enjoy a yummy cocktail or treat yourself to a delicious lunch. If you’d rather not pull out your wallet, you can hang by the boat and partake of our all day, on-board open bar. If you would prefer to bring your own food for lunch, you’re entirely welcome. There is plenty room on-board to serve your guests or we can get you to shore for a beach picnic.
At about 1:30 p.m. we’ll re-assemble back on the boat so we can return to Cole Bay via the 2 p.m. opening of the Simpson Bay Bridge. You will be back at our Marina no later than 2:30 p.m.
