Your own private boat charter…

…aboard our St Maarten Coastal Explorer Tour. Our coastal explorer tour explores the coastal waters of Dutch and French St Maarten(*) in search of Sun, Sea and Fun. Come aboard our comfortable power catamaran and cruise the deep blue Caribbean coastal waters of our island home. Choose from a range of activities to suit your style and tastes. We have food options available to suit all tastes.

  • Note: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, travel to the French side may be restricted. Please check with us before you book.

The St Maarten Coastal Explorer tour is your very own private boat charter tour on the island of St Maarten.  We’ve combined all of our activities into one mix and match charter so that you can choose the best range of activities that suit your interests. We’ll provide the boat, captain and crew. You choose what you’d like to do. As long as it is safe, legal and not detrimental to our environment we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. Some of our more popular island activities include…

  • Divi/Little Bay
…features several opportunities for observing sea life from above. Using the local Snuba site, you can explore several wrecks and a man made undersea walkway where lots of reef fish like to congregate. Explore the surrounding rocks and the remnants of the old Cruise Ship dock that now host many small sea creatures. For the more experienced snorkelers, we have a secluded snorkeling spot that is rarely visited by mainstream tourists. Many reef fish, including spiny lobsters call this rocky spot home.
  • Simpson Bay/Pelikan
Just outside our main lagoon entry lies a rocky outcrop that is home to lots of local reef fish. At certain times of the year, sea turtles and Dolphin Fish (Mahi-Mahi) can be encountered swimming through the area.
  • Creole Rock
Arguably, one of the best snorkeling spots on the island. Protected by the north face of the rock, the south side has a rock and coral garden. Many different reef species call this spot home. On the odd occasion, you may even see a spotted eagle ray cruise by.

  • Trolling for game fish (Mahi-Mahi, Baracuda, Kingfish, etc) can be done just a few miles off-shore.
  • Deep Dropping for Snapper, Grouper and other deep sea dwellers can be done not far off-shore. Using our electric reels, it’s possible to fish to depths of 1,000 feet or more and pull up a few monsters from the deep.
  • Bottom fishing closer in to shore we can pull in some of the more exotic reef fish such as Triggerfish, Grouper (Red Hind), Tilefish, Jacks and even the odd schoolie (small Mahi-Mahi).
